RULES OF THE ROAD

At the start you will be lined up in the starting chute by starting time. Starting at 9:00 AM, 3 to 4 teams will be started every minute. The very first leg of the race is on foot. This is very important. While on foot you must stay on sidewalks and off the street. NO ROADS WILL BE CLOSED FOR THIS EVENT. YOUR SAFETY IS YOUR FIRST CONSIDERATION. While on bike you must ride with traffic and obey all signals and signs. On bike keep a careful eye out for hazards such as drain grates, RR tracks and uneven pavement.

While on foot you must stay on sidewalks and off the street. If law enforcement reports your bib number you may be disqualified.

Observe "Mandatory Dismounts" this means get off and walk or jog your bike.

Provided PFDs are mandatory for the river portion of race.

Observe signs along the course. Some signs are fun facts that may pay off to remember.

At each challenge station you will complete the challenge and one member of your team must get your bib number marked to show completion of that station. Your team bib numbers will be the same but only one team member wears the bib that must be marked at each station, the other team members bib has your drink and food tickets attached. Challenge Station Captains are the final authority for all decisions at that station. Their goal is to help everyone have a good time, run a fair competition and keep things moving. We will have Photographers along the course catching you at your best! Smile Smile Smile!

The course will close at 2:30PM.

FINISHING LOVELAND'S AMAZING RACE

It is very hard to say but we are guessing at least 1.5 hours to finish but it may be longer. It will be fun and at the end you will feel like you've accomplished something! It's time to relax and share stories. Plan to meet family and friends at LaRosa's Finish Line Festival. While your food and beverages are included in your registration it will also be available to family and friends at modest prices. Stick around for an afternoon of music, food, drink and telling tall tales from your race experience.

To get back to your car a shuttle will be provided from the Larosa's Finish Line Festival to the parking area 12:00 to 4:00. The last shuttle to the parking area is at 4:00. Shuttle loads in the parking lot behind and across tracks from Bob Ronker's Running Spot.

Bikes must be removed from the Bike Corral by 5:00 PM. Race and volunteers not responsible for bikes; Bring bike lock if concerned. We have never had a bike stolen.
